Not all the Fuzzies love bath time: while Chip loves to play with soap bubbles and splash in the water, Hopsy doesn’t like to spend time in the bathtub.
We decided to build a floating boat so Hopsy can have fun and imagine great pirates’ adventures during his bath.
If you want to make a floating boat, you can look at the pictures and build it with us!
You will need:
– 4 corks
– 1/2 toothpicks
– coloured paper
You need to tie 3 corks together with a string – make it tight!
Cut a triangle out of the paper and make two holes in it with the toothpick – here is your sail. Now we can stick the sail to the boat! You can ask an adult to do it, if it is too difficult.
Take the last cork and cut it in halves, stick a flag on a smaller toothpick and the toothpick in the cork. This is the buoy for your boat.
The boat can be now attached to the buoy with the string, and it is ready to sail the seas! Try it in the bathtub or in the sink and discover unexplored islands!
