The Fuzzies are created and hand knitted with love in Montréal, Canada by Barbara Mitten.
Barbara has loved making things, since she as a young child would hand-sew toys and doll clothes. She took up knitting as a graduate student. Her first project was a scarf, but she had big ambitions, and soon a toy rabbit was on her knitting needles.

Barbara’s career in knitting design was mostly unintentional. After studying plant science and environmental science at university, she at one point decided to knit toys to sell, to help fund her knitting hobby. Soon, for every new toy she made, she published an accompanying pattern. Since then she has published many designs for cute toys for people to knit and love, which makes the Fuzzies part of a really big family.

The translation of Barbara’s patterns into danish is by Katrine Wohllebe, Goodlifeknitting.
